Speed up with DVD. Honda's new DVD Navigation system answers the needs of sportscar driving. (Optional)

In an unknown path, there is an unknown "joy of driving." In order to become one with the car by driving continuously, the S2000 is best mated with the most advanced navigation system that uses the amazing storage power of the DVD. It will recognize simple, even confusing keywords that may describe your destination. The smart search function will return the most correct and most used entries. Along with its 11 million phone numbers, it can perform simple alphabetic listing as well. Graphical functions such as route tracking, and scrolling have been enhanced for smooth operation. The TwinMap function allows for two completely different maps to be displayed in a split-screen. The Landmark function shows easy-to-spot landmarks such as gasoline stands, and a 3D map function is included for better visualization of uneven terrain. In addition, you can enjoy TV program with the optional 4-channel Diversity Tuner (*1), which is also VICS (*2) (my guessVehicle Information Communication System)-compatible. The monitor that displays this is a six-inch, touch-sensitive display. Along with user-friendliness, the unit functions as an internal accessory.

The InterNavi System is a navigation system developed by Honda that utilizes satellite positioning and Internet access of traffic reports. Much like the home-based mapping program, the unit receives recommended routes, and Internet-based news and information. (To use this additional function, a subscription is required. Please refer to your InterNavi brochure.)
For more details, please refer to the InterNavi HomePage, or call their customer free-dial support line. InterNavi Customer Toll-Free Support Line: 0120-821439 FAX 0120-821285 Hours: 9:00-12:00, 13:00-17:00

(*1) - The TV function will not work unless the side-brake is engaged. While driving, the television will work in audio-only.

(*2) - VICS allows you to see traffic congestions in real-time. Currently, the service is available in the "Shutoken" (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama) along with other major metropolitan areas such as Osaka, Aichi, Kyoto, Hyogo, Nagano, and major freeways, with much more expansion to come. A dealer-installed VICS unit is optional. Please inquire at your local dealership. The navigation unit DVD-ROM drive is a custom drive made by Honda. It is not compatible with movie, music ROMS. For safety reasons, please do not use the unit while driving. The navigation unit has an turn-by-turn instruction feature, but please obey all traffic laws and traffic officers when actually driving. *If the dealer-optional CD or MD unit is attached, the MUTE button will affect both the head unit and the navigational unit. If a CD or MD unit is desired, a changer is recommended. Also, the navigation unit will only work with Honda factory audio units.
